Application records: see what Tsenta sent for each job

Last updated

Every Tsenta application has a record you can open to see where it stands and what was sent: the fields Tsenta filled, the answers it wrote, the résumé and cover letter it used, and the final submission result. How much detail is captured depends on the employer's system, so some records are more complete than others.

Open an application record

  1. In the web dashboard, go to your applications or your tracker and select an application.
  2. Check the status first. An application still in progress is not a confirmed submission.
  3. Review the fields Tsenta filled and the answers it wrote for open-ended questions.
  4. Open the documents to see the tailored résumé and any cover letter that was sent.
  5. Check the submission result.

What a record can include

  • The form fields Tsenta filled in.
  • Answers it wrote to open-ended questions.
  • The résumé and cover letter that were sent.
  • The final submission result, including a confirmation when the employer's system provides one.

Replies from the employer that reach your Tsenta inbox are linked to the application too. See connecting your email so Tsenta routes recruiter replies.

Why detail varies

Each employer system shows something different after an application is submitted. Some return a confirmation page or send a confirmation email. Others show very little. Tsenta records what each workflow captures, so treat the record as what Tsenta saw, not as a promise that every record looks the same.

A submission confirms that an application was sent. It doesn't mean the employer will respond.

If something was wrong

An application already sent to the employer can't be changed or sent again. To fix future applications, update your profile and résumé settings, and edit or remove anything wrong under Settings, What Tsenta remembers.

If an application was cancelled or skipped before anything was sent, you can apply again with a different résumé:

  • If it stopped at form review, select Cancel application first.
  • On that application, select Reapply.
  • Under Apply with profile, choose the résumé profile, then select Reapply.

Reapply creates a new application, which uses one of your applications.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know an application was actually sent?

Check the application's final status. Starting an application, or seeing a filled form, doesn't confirm submission. The record shows the result once the employer's system accepts it.

Why do some records show less detail than others?

Employer systems differ in what they show after you submit. Tsenta records what each system's workflow captures, so some records include a confirmation and others include less.

Can Tsenta withdraw an application?

No. An application already sent to an employer can't be withdrawn, changed or sent again through Tsenta. Contact the employer directly if you need to withdraw.

Can I apply again with a different résumé?

Only if the application was cancelled or skipped before anything was sent. Then Reapply creates a new application with the résumé profile you choose, which uses one of your applications.
