Tracking every application in the Tsenta tracker

Tsenta tracks every application it submits automatically: each one enters your tracker, and replies that reach your Tsenta inbox can move it to interviewing, rejected or offer on their own. You can add applications you sent elsewhere, so one tracker covers your whole search instead of a spreadsheet.
The stages
Each application sits in one stage: Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Rejected or Ghosted. Move a card whenever you hear something Tsenta didn't see.
Use the tracker
- Open Tracker in the web dashboard. On the newer dashboard, it is the Sent tab under Applications.
- Find the applications Tsenta submitted, already in the tracker with their current stage.
- Use Add application for a role you applied to yourself.
- Use Import CSV to bring in a spreadsheet you kept before Tsenta.
- Move a card, or edit its stage, when you hear back.
How stages update on their own
Replies to the email address on your applications land in your Tsenta inbox. Tsenta links each message to an application by:
- the job's ID appearing in the email,
- an earlier message in the same thread that is already linked,
- the company, when you have only one application there, or
- the company plus the job title, when you have several there.
When a linked message is an interview invitation, a rejection or an offer, and the match is confident, Tsenta moves the application to Interviewing, Rejected or Offer. A general message from a recruiter doesn't change the stage by itself. Stages only move forward: Tsenta won't move a card back from Offer, or out of Rejected. You can always correct a stage by hand.

The tracker and the application record
The tracker shows where each application stands. The application itself holds the record of what was sent: the fields Tsenta filled, the answers it wrote, and the résumé and cover letter. See application records.
On your phone
In the iPhone and Android app, the Applications tab shows each application's progress and the Inbox tab shows replies.
Frequently asked questions
Is application tracking included on the free plan?
Yes. Tracking is part of every plan, including the first 25 free applications.
Can I track applications I sent without Tsenta?
Yes. Use Add application for a single role, or Import CSV to bring in an existing spreadsheet, so your whole search is in one tracker.
Why didn't a recruiter's reply move my application?
The message may not have matched an application confidently, it may have been a general recruiter note rather than an interview, rejection or offer, or it went to a different email address. Check your Tsenta inbox and set the stage yourself.
Does moving a card change anything with the employer?
No. The tracker records your search. Changing a stage doesn't submit, withdraw or change an application with the employer.
