Getting started with Tsenta: 25 free applications, no card

Last updated

The fastest way to get started with Tsenta is to sign up at dashboard.tsenta.com, upload your résumé, and apply to your first role. Your first 25 applications are free and need no credit card, so you can see exactly what the agent sends before you pay for anything.

Tsenta is a job application agent. It finds roles that fit your résumé, tailors your résumé for each one, submits the application on the employer's own system, and tracks the replies. You stay in control of which roles it applies to and whether you review each résumé first.

Set up your account and apply

  1. Open dashboard.tsenta.com and sign up with Google or your email.
  2. Upload a recent résumé as a PDF under 10 MB.
  3. Check the details Tsenta pulled from it under Profile: contact details, work history, education and skills.
  4. Answer the work authorization questions and fill any fields Tsenta flags as missing.
  5. In Settings, open Apply settings and choose how much Tsenta rewrites your résumé (Off, Honest or Aggressive) and whether you review each tailored résumé before it is used.
  6. Pick a role from your matches, search for one, or paste a job link, then choose the résumé profile to use and start the application.
  7. Answer anything Tsenta asks for, then check the application's result.

Before your first application

  • Keep résumé review on at first. With auto-approval off, each tailored résumé waits for you to approve or edit it. Once you trust the output, you can let it run. See how résumé tailoring works.
  • Set an application password. Some employer systems, such as Workday, iCIMS and Oracle, make you create an account partway through the form. Under Settings, Application password lets Tsenta create those accounts for you. Use a password you don't use anywhere else.
  • Check your work authorization answers. Most US forms ask whether you are authorized to work and whether you will need sponsorship. Tsenta answers from your profile, so get these right once. See work authorization and visa sponsorship.

What the free 25 include

The free 25 run the same agent as the paid plans: matching, a tailored résumé and cover letter where the form takes one, submission on 30+ supported employer systems, and tracking. Only successful submissions use one of the 25. A failed attempt or a match you skip does not.

When you have used them, Starter, Pro and Power give you 600, 1,500 or 4,500 applications per cycle.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tsenta free to try?

Yes. Your first 25 applications are free and need no credit card. They run the full agent: matching, a tailored résumé, submission on the employer's system, and tracking. The 25 are per account, not per month.

What do I need to sign up?

A Google account or an email address, and a recent résumé as a PDF under 10 MB. You can also start from the iPhone or Android app, or by texting Tsenta on iMessage or WhatsApp.

Does starting an application mean it was sent?

No. An application counts as sent only when its status shows it was submitted. Check the result on the application before you start another attempt at the same job.

Do I have to let Tsenta pick jobs for me?

No. In the standard flow you choose every role. Auto Apply, which picks and submits roles for you, is a separate setting on the Power plan and stays off until you turn it on.
